Boo-Yah!

My Grams had a Halloween party last weekend. The three little girls all went as butterflies- really cute ones, if I do say so. The Saturday night trick-or-treating experience left a lot to be desired. It was sprinkling on us when we headed out at 5:00. By 6:00 it had turned into a shower. Each of the girls were carrying an umbrella in one hand (no, Eric and I were NOT allowed to hold the umbrellas for the girls) and their loot bucket in the other hand. The details of the trek are not important. I'll just make note that in 45 minutes we only knocked on ten doors. Then the girls had had their fill, so we called it a night. On the upside, the downpour kept trick-or-treaters from ringing our own doorbell, which left us with no other choice but to make sure that the candy we'd purchased to hand out did not go wasted.

  2. They look darling! Those three girls look like they could be sisters.
    Enjoy the leftover candy stash.

  3. We took Aiden trick-or-treating for the first time this year, so I get why it took 45 minutes for you to ring 10 doorbells :) His enthusiasm at this age is sweet, but the dawdling drives me nuts.
