Sometimes you just know when your kid is going to have an off day. Katelyn woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning and life has been rotten to her ever since. Even I am out to get her:) After her mean mother committed an unthinkable cruelty (made her hold still while I combed her hair), Katelyn has declared that she is running away. Actually, it's cuter in her own words: "I'm wunning away foe-ev-oh!" She pulled out her suitcase and filled it with a couple of essentials- Dora doll and her blanket. She's been announcing her departure for the last few hours and I'm beginning to think that she's not going to go through with it. However, if she happens to make her escape when I'm distracted (say, while blogging right now for instance), and you see her roaming the sidewalks toting a fine piece of Dora luggage, please return her to the address on the tag. Drama Queen or not, I'd sure hate to lose her. Should you come across this face, approach her with caution. She's never been known to bite, but today I wouldn't put it past her.
That look has me frightened! If I see her I will call for help.
ReplyDeleteI too shall keep an eye out for a wandering Gap Kids poster child. And the perfectly combed hair that made her mom a monster:)
ReplyDeleteYou know, at least she's going with a flair! And I have seen that face before; it's ferocious.
ReplyDeleteI'll keep my eyes out. After yesterday, Sofia might be with her.
ReplyDeleteShe has Westerberg genes. Poor her.
ReplyDeleteThis girl has every ounce of her mother's spunk... and then some! -M
ReplyDeleteYou do make life awfully hard for her. Sometimes I wish they made mood enhancing drugs for children. I've needed some lately.
